Peel a pineapple using a knife

Pineapple or "Ananas comosus" is a tropical fruit native to Brazil and Paraguay. It has many benefits on human health and it can be eaten fresh, cooked and juiced. This fruit is used in many cuisines around the world in salads, desserts, main dishes, with fish or meat.

Some people find it a pain to peel. Actually it's quite easy to peel a pineapple. You just need a long and very sharp blade such as the one you'll find in a chef's knife, a clean surface  and you're good to go. You really don't need to buy any contraption to do it. Just watch the video below.
